Enrollment Status Indicators of Patients

Status	Tool Tip	Description
Not enrolled	Not Enrolled	The patient is not enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal.
Not enrolled	Aged Out	The patient has aged out and the enrollment of guardian has been revoked.
Pending	Pending	The practice has initiated the patient's enrollment, but the patient has not completed the enrollment.
Completed	Completed; Last Login Date MM/DD/YYYY Note: The last logon information appears only when the icon is available for selecting.	The patient has completed the enrollment.
Deactivated	Deactivated	The practice has deactivated the NextGen® PxP Portal account of the patient. If the account is activated again, the enrollment status changes to Completed. Deleted	Account Deleted	The practice has deleted the NextGen® PxP Portal account of the patient. When a patient's account is deleted, the practice can send the invitation to enroll the patient in NextGen® PxP Portal again. Declined	Declined	The patient has declined to enroll in NextGen® PxP Portal and the practice has selected the patient response as Declined Enrollment in the Add Patient Information or Modify Patient Information window.
Deferred	Deferred	The patient has declined not to enroll in NextGen® PxP Portal at the time of visit to the practice but may enroll in future, and the practice has selected the patient response as Deferred Enrollment in the Add Patient Information or Modify Patient Information window.

Viewing Demographics Information

The following patient demographic information appears on the Patient Information Bar in NextGen® Enterprise PM: Sex Note: Sex is abbreviated. You can hover over the abbreviation to view the full description. Date of Birth Age Note: In case of expired patients, (Deceased) appears instead of age. Person Number Medical Record Number (MRN) Other ID Number Other ID Number is based on the details in the External tab of the Modify Patient Information. Viewing Patient's NextGen® PxP Portal Enrollment Status

If the practice is part of NextGen® PxP Portal, you can view the patient's NextGen® PxP Portal enrollment status on the Patient Information Card (PIC). If the patient is not enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal, you can send an enrollment invitation email. Note: The patient enrollment status indicator is available only when the NextGen® PxP Portal license is active. Enroll a Patient in NextGen® PxP Portal

If the Patient Portal trigger action is Enrollment, you can set up a NextGen® PxP Portal account for the selected patient through NextGen® Enterprise EHR. For more information on the enrollment process, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest NextGen® PxP Portal Provider Guide for NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Ask your system administrator which NextGen® Enterprise EHR template and field to use. In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, select the template that contains the Patient Portal trigger, and then select OK. For more information, see Select a Template.. Select the Patient Portal trigger on the applicable field. Set up Patient Portal Trigger

The Patient Portal action launches windows at run time that enable you to: Set up an account for a patient on the NextGen® PxP Portal website. Schedule the future delivery of a message to a patient enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal. After a message has been scheduled, you can review and edit or delete it, if necessary. NextGen® PxP Portal is a secure Internet portal that enables patients to communicate with providers, request appointments, request prescription refills, review test results, complete online forms, view documents and statements, and access health reference information. Icon Description Veteran Icon Appears when you select the Veteran check box for the patient on the Demographics tab of the Add/Modify Patient Information window.
