Setting Agent Options for C-CDA R2.1

Beginning with the 5.9 release, Rosetta CCD (Continuity of Care Documents) export agents support C-CDA level R2.1. When Rosetta agents are upgraded, R2.1 becomes the default level for C-CDA exports. To accomplish this, the following agent options in the General category are set during the agent upgrade:

• Format = C-CDA R2.1
• External System To Xref Codes In Code Tables = CCDAR21
• External System To Xref Codes In Mstr Lists = CCDAR21

The latter two options must have the value CCDAR21 when the Format option is C-CDA R2.1.

If you need to export documents in C-CDA R1.1 format, then set Format to C-CDA, and set the other options to the appropriate external system.

For backward compatibility, you can optionally set the Export > Include Legacy Template Ids agent option to Yes. This causes the exported document to include legacy template IDs in addition to the current template IDs. The default is No.

Rosetta CCD export agents can create different types of C-CDA documents. You can use the option General > Default C-CDA R2.1 template to specify the default type of document that is created: CCD, Referral Note, and Care Plan. The default is CCD.
