You can specify several options for document exports in the Additional Export Information pane on the Export tab.
For Document Type, select the document type: CCD, Care Plan, or Referral Note.
Depending on the selected destination, some of these document types may not be listed.
For Confidentiality, select one of the available values.
You can change the list of available values for this option by editing the XDS Confidentiality master list in File Maintenance. For more information, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the File Maintenance Master Lists Guide forNextGen®Enterprise.
The confidentiality code selected here is the XDS confidentiality code, which is stored in the metadata for the document. This XDS confidentiality code is different from the confidentiality code mentioned in the C-CDA header section. The Rosetta agent option Export > Document Level Confidentiality Code controls the confidentiality code in the C-CDA header. To modify the agent option, contact NextGen Healthcare Support.
For Practice, select a clinical specialty.
View the Export As selection to verify whether the export is a new document or whether it is an addendum or replacement for an existing document.
If the document is an addendum or replacement, then the Export As option is followed by Of and the title of the original document.
You cannot modify the Export As value within this pane. To generate an addendum or replacement, you must start from a document in the Export History pane on the Home tab. After you select the Create Addendum or Create Replacement button there, the Data Share module displays the Export tab with the Export As option prefilled to Addendum or Replacement.
If you later decide not to export an addendum or replacement, you can reset the Export As selection to New by clicking the refresh icon.
Choose Options for File Exports When you export from the Data Share module to a file, you can choose whether to include previously excluded information and whether to save the document to the patient chart.
Choose Options for Referrals When you export a referral from the through NextGen® Share or through a health information services provider (HISP), you can choose the receiving provider, associate a referral, and choose whether to include a cover letter.
