Before you begin
Ensure that you have turned on the
Test Results link by raising a ticket with
NextGen Healthcare Support. Also ensure that the Site Generator ID referenced in both the Practice and Enterprise Site Generator matches with the Site Generator ID in
NextGen® API Suite Manager.
When the email and SMS notifications are enabled in Site Generator, patients using NextGen® PxP Portal receive notifications for their lab test results on their mobile devices.
- Open Site Generator, and select NextGen Healthcare Site Generator.
The Site Generator home page opens.
- Under Portal Solutions, select Test Results.
The
Test Results page opens.
- To view only the lab test results that are duly signed by the provider, select the Display only Signed off results check box.
- To notify patients through Email and SMS, select Activate Email Notifications and Activate SMS Notifications.
- To display test results that do not have a ordering provider, select Display results without providers.
- Select Save.
