Before you begin
Ensure that the
Ask a Staff label is set up in Site Generator.
You can add communication routing rules for Ask a Staff labels and set up target routes for the rules. You can configure the messages to be routed to a particular user, user group, or security group, when a patient sends a secure message to a provider from a particular location.
- In PxP Portal Integration Tool, select
.
The
Message Routing page opens.
- To view the routing rules configured for a particular provider and location, select the location and provider, and then select Search.
- For Set Default User, enter the routing type and name.
Messages are routed to this user or group if no routing rules are configured.
- Select Save.
- Select Add Group to add a routing rule.
- In Message SubType, enter the Ask a Staff label you are setting the communication route for.
- Enter other details and then select Save
to save the group.
Note: Ensure that location, provider and practice user is configured in Site Generator with a valid external id.
- Select the Add Route
icon to add a route for the rule.
- Select the routing type and name from the respective lists, and then select Save
The route ID for the selected routing name appears.
