PPIT_Ask a Provider_Setup Option B (not recommended): Logic: Label, Staff, and Location, if combination found then route to designated recipients for the rule. Note: This option works but require additional message routing rules inputted with no true benefit to practice. Billing Question Setup from Site Generator

Scenario Example 1: Practice wants to have a billing question available on the NextGen® PxP Portal. They have one workgroup or multiple user who receives all messages related to Billing Question. Even though they have multiple physical locations on NextGen® PxP Portal, they would prefer no location or provider combination since the messages are going to the same recipients regardless. Configure Communication Routing Rules

Before you begin Ensure that the Ask a Staff label is set up in Site Generator. You can add communication routing rules for Ask a Staff labels and set up target routes for the rules. You can configure the messages to be routed to a particular user, user group, or security group, when a patient sends a secure message to a provider from a particular location. In PxP Portal Integration Tool, select Message routing icon.The Message Routing page opens. Message Routing page To view the routing rules configured for a particular provider and location, select the location and provider, and then select Search. For Set Default User, enter the routing type and name. Messages are routed to this user or group if no routing rules are configured. Select Save.
