Past History

You can enter Past History information by selecting any of the links in the left navigation for Function, Nutrition, Pediatric, Lymph/Oncology, Cognition, and Fluency. Past History grid When you have opened any Past History template, you can use the left navigation to jump to another template. Note: To fill in these templates more efficiently, you can use Get Data to pull information from prior visits, or QuickPicks to enter saved favorites. See Use Get Data and QuickPicks for more information. After you have entered all information on a template, select Save & Close. All information is stored in the Past History grid. Work Conditioning Template

The Work Conditioning template is for Workman’s Compensation patients billing the codes 97545 and 97546. To document on the Work Conditioning template, you can use Get Data to pull information from prior visits, or QuickPicks to enter saved favorites. See Use Get Data and QuickPicks. Grid-Edit Mode

Use Grid-Edit mode for adding entries into the treatment grids and for making changes to multiple rows in a grid at once. Grid-Edit mode is the default mode when the template is initially opened. In Grid-Edit mode, the window displays Grid-Edit Mode. Grid-Edit Mode for a treatment grid In Grid-Edit mode, you can: Enter items into treatment grids by typing, selecting from picklists, using a QuickPick or Get Data. See Use Get Data and QuickPicks. Mark items in any grid as D (done or completed today in the facility), Grp (Group Therapy), or part of a HEP (Home Exercise Program). Using the Results Panel

You can perform the following actions in the Results panel on the Orders Summary tab: Enter test results coming in with an interface using the Formatted Results, Grid Results, or Documents, Images, and URLs tabs. Manually enter results using the New Results Entry tab. Manually enter related documents using the New Document and Images Entry tab. View and add tracking comments. View Lab Results

Before you begin You must ensure that you have the necessary access rights in System Administrator for the Orders Module. For more information on user access rights, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest System Administrator Guide forNextGen®Enterprise. You can view the results of a patient's laboratory tests. Additionally, you can open the Orders Module and view the order details associated with a result. For more information on the Orders Module, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest Orders Module User Guide forNextGen®Enterprise EHR. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookup window. On the Quick Buttons panel, select Lab Results.The Review Patient Results window opens displaying a report of all completed laboratory tests in a flow sheet format, that includes the date and time of the specimens associated with an order collected,test name, and result for the test name. Results Toolbar

The Results toolbar displays the options to select. The Results toolbar has the following options. You can view the same options when you right-click in the Results grid. Option Description View Results by Provides a selection list to view the results from various tests by lab short description, lab long description, or NextGen compendium description. Resources Provides links to website resources set up in File Maintenance for external patient education, clinical decision support, and external provider reference. Show Only Results Opens only tests that have results. The result values are not grouped by the test or panel name. You can set up a user preference to View Results Only in the Orders section of the General tab in the Preferences window in NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
