Homepage Template

Open the NTS Homepage template as the starting point for all visits. On it, you can view key information such as scripts, authorizations, KX modifier, and the plan of care. The application tracks this information and, when you open the NTS Homepage template, alerts you if action is needed. Comments

Most panels of the Single Visit templates have a Comments field. Use the Comments fields to record things such as observations, interpretations, additional information, instructions and plans that do not have discrete data fields in that section. Comments fields typically have a 1000-character limit, and a character counter below the field. Comments (Subjective) field Integrating NextGen Mobile Comments into NextGen Therapy Suite Information you dictate in your therapy session appears in NextGen® Therapy Suite. Add Comments Review, Modify, and Copy Comments You can review the comments from a patient's current and previous encounters. You can improve your documentation efficiency by copying comments from previous therapy sessions into the current encounter. Your practice must be configured to allow copying previous comments. You can use system and practice templates to configure the NextGen® Therapy Suite templates according to your requirements. This information is intended for the staff responsible for maintaining the configuration settings. Practice Configuration

You can use the NTS Practice Config template to configure settings for the practice that you are logged on to. The template has a table layout with rows of settings for Scripts, Single Visit, Diagnosis, PT/OT Exams, PT/OT Modalities, PT/OT Aquatherapy, Goals, Fee Sheet, QuickPicks, Cancel, Screening, and Student Settings with SLP Students. Open the Practice Configuration Template Open the NTS Practice Config practice template from the Specialty Config Home system template so you can configure settings and preferences for your practice. Scripts Single Visit Configure the Ability to Copy Comments Forward You can allow users to copy forward comments to the current encounter. Procedures or Results

The Procedures/Results section grid displays any procedures and results that have been documented for the patient on procedure templates. Procedures/Results grid To document procedures and results, select a template in the left navigation to open it. Note: You can configure the left side navigation to show only templates that are used by your practice or the provider and display them in the order most useful to you. All Procedures/Results templates also have functionality for Use Get Data and QuickPicks and you can fill out as many different templates as needed for that patient.
