Chiro Single Visit

Use the NTS Chiro Single Visit template for chiropractic care. The template has a top section for general information, History/Review, Reason for Visit, Objective, and Assessment/Plan panels, and sections at the bottom for signoff and to indicate providers who should get carbon copies of documentation. After you have completed all documentation for an encounter, select the Fee Sheet tab in the workflow bar, or the Fee Sheet button below the panels on the Single Visit template, to open the Fee Sheet template. Fee Sheet on the navigation bar When you open the Fee Sheet, the system uses the documentation on that encounter to determine which CPT codes and the total number of units can be billed. It takes into consideration any payer-specific billing rules configured in the Billing Configuration system template and adjusts billing as needed, based on the payer attached to the case. Re-Evaluation Charge

If you select the Re-Eval Charge checkbox on the Fee Sheet template for a chiropractic visit type, it changes the visit type on the Office Note document to a Re-evaluation. This checkbox does not alter any billable charges. Parent topic: Fee Sheet - Chiropractic Visit

Charges Grid

The Charges grid shows the visit code (if applicable) and any documented treatments from Chiro Single Visit, except for DME items. Note: You cannot change any charges on the Fee Sheet. You must make all documentation changes on the appropriate templates and then reopen the Fee Sheet to display the appropriate charges for that encounter. Charges grid All necessary modifiers are automatically applied to the CPT codes, based on the rules set up on the Billing Configuration system template for the payer attached to the case. Note: If the Cpt Code column for an item displays Not Billed, it could be due to the following: The code is prevented for that payer on the Billing Configuration system template. The code does not have enough time documented based on the configuration for that code. The code was marked as Concurrent on the template. Any code marked as Concurrent will not be billed.
