Document a Chiropractic Therapy Health Promotion Plan
You can document screening and follow-up plans of care for the following: BMI, depression, and hypertension health promotion plans Pain management and fall risk plans of care Functional status Note: You can customize the Health Promotion Plan template in NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. For more information, go to the NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine Health Promotion Plan Quick Reference Guide. Open a patient record, and then in Encounter History, expand a case and select an encounter. Open the NTS Chiro Single Visit template associated with the encounter, and then expand the Objective panel. Select the Health Promotion Plan link, and then document the plan in one or more of the following panels of the Health Promotion Plan window: Health Promotion Plan (used for BMI, depression, or hypertension) Pain Management Fall Risk Functional and Cognitive Assessment Status Note: The Screening Tools/Follow-Up Plans of Care panel displ

Objective Comments
Use the Comments (Objective) field to record things such as observations, additional information, instructions, and plans. You can type text into the field or add saved phrases from a “My Phrases” set. For more information, see Add Comments. The Review Comments link above the field opens a window where you can review comments entered in all sections of the patient’s chart. You can also review and copy comments that were captured on previous encounters with that patient. For more information, see Review, Modify, and Copy Comments.
