Set the Original Patient As the Recipient in Replies

When replying to a forwarded message, if the message originated from a patient, you can easily set that patient as the recipient.
  1. On the NextGen® Enterprise PM main toolbar, select the Mailbox button.
  2. From the list in the upper-right corner of the window, select Patient Portal.
    A list of patient portal folders appears in the left pane. A list of messages appears in the right pane.
  3. Select the New Message button. .
    The Patient Portal Message window opens.
  4. Select the arrow on the To button, and then select Add Original Patient.
  5. Complete your message as required.
