Add Patients as Recipients

You can only message patients with the Completed or Completed with Guardian enrollment status.
  1. On the NextGen® Enterprise PM main toolbar, select the Mailbox button.
  2. From the list in the upper-right corner of the window, select Patient Portal.
    A list of patient portal folders appears in the left pane. A list of messages appears in the right pane.
  3. Select the New Message button. .
    The Patient Portal Message window opens.
  4. On the Patient Portal Message window, select the arrow on the To button, and do any of the following:
    • To add the current patient (whose chart is open), select the patient name.
    • To add another patient, select Add Patient, and then on the People Lookup window, search for and select the patient.
  5. Complete your message as required.
