to delete.
A confirmation window opens.
Select
Yes
to delete the item.
The item is sent to the corresponding
Archived
folder (Inbox, Appointments, etc.).
Note:
You cannot delete items in an
Archived
folder.

Manage Messages from Excluded Patients
Messages or requests from the excluded patients appear as restricted. You can forward the restricted messages to the users who have permissions to view the messages of such patients. For more information about including and excluding patients at the user level, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest version of System Administrator Guide for NextGen® Enterprise. From the main toolbar, select the Inbox button. The Workflow window opens. Select the Patient Portal tab. The Communications, Prescriptions, Appointments, and Online Forms folders appear in the left pane. The messages appear in the right pane. Select the restricted message.A message explains that you do not have access. Select OK.The Forward Item window opens. Select the required user or user group. If you cannot find a user or group, enter a search string in the field provided, and then select Search. You must also ensure that appointment features are set up correctly in File Maintenance. If your practice has enabled the real-time schedule feature, patients can select an available time slot and book the appointment themselves. Archive Messages and Requests

View Portal Messages

The last three months messages are displayed by default. On the main toolbar, select the Inbox button. The Workflow window opens. Select the Patient Portal tab. The Communications, Prescriptions, Appointments, and Online Forms folders appear in the left pane. The messages appear in the right pane. Optional: To view all the communication sent and received for the selected patient, select Patient-Specific View.
