Update Radiology Orders in the Radiology Order Worklog
You can update the details of radiology orders to be performed and billed in your practice or at an external facility in the future.
- To open the Rad Order Worklog system template, do one of the following:
- Select File > System \ Practice Template, and then select Rad Order Worklog from the Select Template window.
- From the Home or any other applicable template, select the Forms link, and then select Rad Order Worklog.
Note: The Rad Order Worklog template opens with the details of the Internal Later and External orders. Only the radiology orders with the Ordered and Scheduled statuses appear in the grid, and they are removed from the grid when the status is updated to one of the following:- Completed for External orders
- Performed for Internal Later orders
- Cancelled for Internal Later and External orders
- Select an option for Performed.
- Optional: Filter the orders in the grid.
Note: You can configure default values for Performed, Category, and Performing Location based on users in the Radiology Worklog User Defaults panel of the Radiology Configuration template. - To update an order, select the order from the grid, and then select Edit.
The Worklog Management window opens.
- Update the necessary order details, add a message, and then select the appropriate order status.
Note: You can also update radiology order statuses other than Scheduled, Cancelled, and Completed by using the Radiology Order Management template from the corresponding patient's chart.
- To save the changes and return to the Rad Order Worklog template, select Update, and then select Close.
- Optional: To open a patient's chart through an order, select the order from the grid, and then select Launch Chart.
