Update Radiology Orders in the Radiology Order Worklog

You can update the details of radiology orders to be performed and billed in your practice or at an external facility in the future. To open the Rad Order Worklog system template, do one of the following: Select File > System \ Practice Template, and then select Rad Order Worklog from the Select Template window. From the Home or any other applicable template, select the Forms link, and then select Rad Order Worklog. Note: The Rad Order Worklog template opens with the details of the Internal Later and External orders. Only the radiology orders with the Ordered and Scheduled statuses appear in the grid, and they are removed from the grid when the status is updated to one of the following: Completed for External orders Performed for Internal Later orders Cancelled for Internal Later and External orders Select an option for Performed. Place an Order for Lab or Diagnosis in the Care Guidelines Template

You can add an order for lab and diagnosis in the Care Guidelines template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Review the guideline items in the Care Guidelines panel at each encounter.Items with status due are the items that can be ordered, such as labs and diagnostic studies. Highlight a guideline item to be ordered in the grid.Details for the guideline appear in the respective fields above the grid. Select the Order button.The item's status is updated to display ordered , and the Action field displays the date ordered. If you have recommended care items in the grid, select a recommended care in the grid. Do any of the following: In the Goal field, type a goal for the patient. Select the blue down-arrow and select a goal from the list. Select the Status field and select the status of the recommended care. You can update the type and category of radiology orders placed through NextGen® Mobile or the Order module. On the Home or any other applicable template, select Orders from the upper navigation bar, and then select Radiology Order. The Radiology Order template opens. Select the message indicating reviewing the orders. Radiology Orders to Update section on the Radiology Order template Select the order from the Radiology Orders to Update grid. Place Orders from the My Plan Template

You can place orders for the patient using the My Plan template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select the Care Guidelines link on any of the main template.The Care Guidelines Paged View template opens. In the Care Guidelines panel, select the Grid View link.The Care Guidelines grid view template opens. Expand the Recent Orders panel and select Add. The My Plan template opens. My Plan The My Plan template displays order items in the set appropriate for the selected assessment’s diagnosis category. To add or change a diagnosis in the Today's Assessments grid, select Add or Edit.
