Add a Patient to the Wait List Worklog
You can add a patient to the wait list manually. To add a patient manually to the worklog, go to the Wait List system template and select Add. The IORTSsurg_Wait List Pop template opens. Fill in the patient information. Click Add. Click Close. Parent topic: Wait List

Remove a Patient from the Waitlist
To remove a patient from the wait list, go to the Wait List system template. Select the patient in the grid. Click Edit. The IORTssurg Wait List Pop window opens. Click Delete. Parent topic: Wait List

Wait List
The Wait List worklog enables coordinators to keep track of all patients that want an earlier surgical date or need to be rescheduled for surgery. The Wait List is a system-level template displays patients that have been added: the surgeon, patient name, procedure, clearance, phone, and any notes. Use the Launch Chart, Add, and Edit buttons to work with the Wait List. You can filter the grid by surgeon using the Surgeon field. Wait List template To make sure that the entry is tied to a patient record, users must now select the patient from a Patient Lookup window. If you attempt to type the patient information, an alert opens stating Selected record from the grid is not attached to the patient's chart. Document Actions Performed on Surgery Orders
On the Coordinator template, you can initiate workflows to document actions performed to cancel and reschedule surgeries. You can indicate actions performed to cancel and reschedule surgeries using the following buttons below the panels on the Coordinator template. Cancel Reschedule R/S Postpone Open the Coordinator template. To document actions performed for canceling a surgery, do the following: Click Cancel. The IORTSsurg Cancel Info window opens. IORTS Surgery Cancel Workflow window Select the actions performed to cancel the surgery. Your name and current date and time are automatically filled in the corresponding fields. To send the actions performed to the provider team, click FYI to Provider Team, and assign a task to the desired users. Click Save & Close. The IORTSsurg Cancel Info window closes, and the selected actions are added to the surgery order on the Coordinator template. Revise Surgery Details
If you change the surgery location, or update details of the procedure on the Surgery Sched template, you can indicate that the surgery order is revised. On the Surgery Sched template, expand the Place Order panel. Select the Revised check box. A message appears stating that you can revise the surgery order only once, and you cannot combine a revised order with a rescheduled order. Click OK. The Add New Task window opens. On the Surgery Sched template, a message appears next to the Revised check box stating that the surgery is revised, and fields appear for the following: Documenting what is revised Displaying your name, and date and time of the revision Generating revised surgery document, orders, and clearance letters Revised check box in the Place Order panel Assign a task to the desired user on the Add New Task window that opens. Add a Surgical Procedure
To open the IORTS Px Xpo template, do one of the following: Under the following grids, click Add: Orthopedic Surgical History grid on the Intake template Surgical History grid on the Intake template Procedures grid on the Surgery Coding template On templates where you are adding procedures to diagnoses/assessments (for example, the Single or Multi Fx template), click the Procedure Codes button. If the Procedure Page field is blank or you want to select a different value, click the Procedure Page field, and select a value from the list and click OK. IORTS Procedure Page window Select a procedure code. If picklists open, make any selections necessary to refine the procedure description: If the IORTS Side picklist opens, select the side or bilateral, or select the blank at the top of the picklist to continue without selecting the side.
