If you change the surgery location, or update details of the procedure on the Surgery Sched template, you can indicate that the surgery order is revised.
 
  - On the Surgery Sched template, expand the Place Order panel.
 
  - Select the Revised check box.
   
    A message appears stating that you can revise the surgery order only once, and you cannot combine a revised order with a rescheduled order.
   
 
  - Click OK.
   
    The 
Add New Task window opens. On the 
Surgery Sched template, a message appears next to the 
Revised check box stating that the surgery is revised, and fields appear for the following: 
    
     - Documenting what is revised
 
     - Displaying your name, and date and time of the revision
 
     - Generating revised surgery document, orders, and clearance letters
 
    
    
    
  - Assign a task to the desired user on the Add New Task window that opens.
 
  - Click the What was revised? field, and select the appropriate option from the list.
 
  - To document actions performed to revise the surgery order, do the following:
   
    - Click Revised.
     
      The 
IORTSrevised Surg Workflow window opens. 
      
      
    - Select the actions performed to revise the surgery order.
     
      Your name, and current date and time are automatically filled in the corresponding fields.
     
 
    - Click Save & Close.
     
      The IORTSrevised Surg Workflow window closes, and the selected actions are added to the surgery order on the Surgery Sched template.
     
 
   
 
  - To generate desired documents, click the corresponding 
 icon.
