You can document additional information for the planned surgery items of a surgery order.
On the Surgery Order Management template, coordinators and surgery schedulers can view and edit the details of surgery orders from the Surgery Sched template.
- Do one of the following to open the Surgery Order Management template.
- Select a medical clearance record from the Orders Placed grid, and click Edit in the Place Order panel on the Surgery Sched template.
- Click Update in the Surgery Information panel on the Coordinator template.
- Click Update in the Authorization panel on the Pre Auth template.
- Select a record from the orders grid, and click Edit on the Surgery Scheduling Worklog template.
The
Surgery Order Management template opens displaying the details of the surgery order from the
Surgery Sched template.
- Update the surgery order as needed.
- Click Update, and then click Close.
The surgery order is updated with the additional information, and the Surgery Order Management template closes.
