Manage Orders Placed
You can add, edit, and remove the existing surgery orders.
- On the Surgery Sched template, expand the Place Order panel.
- To add an order to the Orders Placed grid, do the following:
- Click Add.
The IORTSss MA Popup window opens.
- In the Order field, type an order description, or select the description from the list.
- Click the Appt field, and select the type of appointment from the list.
- Click the When field, and select the period, from when the appointment is needed from the list.
- Click the Event field, and select the purpose of the appointment from the list.
- Enter any additional details in the Details field.
- In the X-Rays section, select the appropriate option for the injured side of the body, and enter the injured body part.
- To add details in the next row, repeat steps c-g.
- Click Add.
The order details are added to the orders grid.
- Click Save & Close.
The IORTSss MA Popup window closes. The order details from the IORTSss MA Popup window are added to the Orders Placed grid.
- Click Add.
- To edit an order in the Orders Placed grid, do the following:
- Select an order except medical clearances, and click Edit.
The IORTSss MA Popup window opens displaying the details of the order in their corresponding fields.Note: If you select a medical clearance record and click Edit, the Surgery Order Management template opens displaying the details of the surgery order. You can edit the details of the surgery order on the Surgery Order Management template.
- Edit the details of the surgery order.
- Click Update.
The order details are updated in the orders grid.
- Click Save & Close.
The IORTSss MA Popup window closes. The order details from the IORTSss MA Popup window are updated in the Orders Placed grid.
- Select an order except medical clearances, and click Edit.
- To delete an order from the Orders Placed grid, select the order to be deleted, and then click Remove.
The selected order is deleted from the grid.Note: You cannot delete medical clearance records from the Orders Placed grid.
- Click Update Order.
The surgery order is updated with the changes made.
