Remove a Security Group Authorization to Submit Charges on Finalize Visit Template

You can remove authorization from a security group to submit charges on the Finalize Visit template. On the IORTS Miscellaneous Configuration practice template, expand the Submit & Signoff panel. In the Security Groups Allowed to Submit Charges on the Finalize Visit grid, select the security group. The group name and description appear the fields below the grid. Click Remove. You can manage the following submit and sign-off rights in the Submit & Signoff panel of the IORTS Miscellaneous Configuration practice template. Configure Scribe Approval for Submitting Charges

On the Specialty Config Home template, select Practice from the left navigation bar. The IORTS Practice Configuration template opens. Expand the Finalize Visit Settings panel. To make the scribe's approval required for submitting charges on scribe encounters, select the Require Scribe Sign-off before submitting on Finalize Visit checkbox. Note: If you clear the checkbox, the scribe's approval is not required for submitting charges on the Finalize Visit template. Parent topic: Finalize Visit Settings

Make Changes to Submitted Charges with the Administrative Override

Any changes to submitted charges require an administrative override. Only users configured to have administrative override rights can reset codes on a submitted procedure. Administrative Override on the Finalize Visit template On the Finalize Visit template, select the Administrative Override check box. This enters the user’s name with a date and timestamp. Click the Reset Codes button. The IORTS FV Adminover template opens. Select the item for which you want to override the charges. Click Reset Codes. Click Close to return to the Finalize Visit template. Re-code and submit the charges. Note: This does not remove charges that have already been sent. Manage Admin Override Permission for Security Groups

You can provide or deny the admin override permission to security groups from the Admin Override panel of the Practice Configuration practice template. The members of the security groups with admin override permission can change the submitted charges on the Finalize Visit template. On the Practice Configuration practice template, expand the Admin Override panel. Admin Override panel on the Practice Configuration template Go to the Security Groups with Admin Override authority grid. To provide the admin override permission, select a group in the field below grid, and then click Add. To deny the admin override permission, select a group in the grid, and then click Delete.
