Enable a Security Group to Submit Charges on Finalize Visit Template

You can enable a security group to submit the charges on Finalize Visit template. On the IORTS Miscellaneous Configuration practice template, expand the Submit & Signoff panel. In the field below the Name column of the Security Groups Allowed to Submit Charges on the Finalize Visit grid, select the security group. Manage PAQ Functionality for Practice Locations

On the Miscellaneous Configuration practice template, expand the Submit & Signoff panel. Submit and Signoff panel on the Miscellaneous Configuration template To enable the PAQ sign-off for practice locations, do the following in the Location Allowing PAQ Signoff section. To enable the PAQ sign-off for a location, select the desired location in the location grid. The check mark appears in the Allow column for the selected location. To enable the PAQ sign-off for all locations, select the Select All check box. The check mark appears in the Allow column for all locations. To disable the PAQ sign-off for practice locations, do the following in the Location Allowing PAQ Signoff section. To disable the PAQ sign-off for a location, select the desired location with the check mark in the location grid. The check mark disappears from the Allow column for the selected location. Remove a Security Group Authorization to Submit Charges on Finalize Visit Template

You can remove authorization from a security group to submit charges on the Finalize Visit template. On the IORTS Miscellaneous Configuration practice template, expand the Submit & Signoff panel. In the Security Groups Allowed to Submit Charges on the Finalize Visit grid, select the security group. The group name and description appear the fields below the grid. Click Remove. Configure Scribe Approval for Submitting Charges

On the Specialty Config Home template, select Practice from the left navigation bar. The IORTS Practice Configuration template opens. Expand the Finalize Visit Settings panel. To make the scribe's approval required for submitting charges on scribe encounters, select the Require Scribe Sign-off before submitting on Finalize Visit checkbox. Note: If you clear the checkbox, the scribe's approval is not required for submitting charges on the Finalize Visit template. Parent topic: Finalize Visit Settings

Sign off as the Supervising Provider

When PAQ is enabled for the practice location on the Miscellaneous Configuration template, documents sent for signoff go to the supervising provider’s PAQ. The supervising provider can launch the patient’s chart from the Task to review the visit. When PAQ is disabled for the practice location on the Miscellaneous Configuration template, a task is sent to the supervising provider to review the templates for signoff. On the Finalize Visit template, to signoff as the supervising provider, select the Supervisor signoff check box. Parent topic: Submit to Supervisor Workflow

Sign Off as Scribe

If the Scribe Encounter checkbox on the Home template is selected for the current encounter, the scribe can sign off before submitting charges or the provider signs off on the Finalize Visit template. Select the Scribe signoff checkbox. Scribe signoff check box on the Billable Visit template This enters the user’s name with a date and timestamp, and generates the document if PAQ functionality is enabled. Note: You can make the scribe's approval required or optional for submitting charges on scribe encounters by using the Finalize Visit Settings panel of the IORTS Practice Configuration template.
