Provider Signoff

The provider can sign off on the Billable Visit template if PAQ functionality is disabled. Click the Electronically Signed By check box. Signing Off Patient Histories

On the Billable Visit template, in the History panel, the fields associated with the Reviewed by check box are automatically filled with the name of the user and date and time of the signoff from the Intake template. After reviewing and updating the details in the History panel, the provider can select the Provider Reviewed check box to sign off and bill for the patient visit. You can use the Submit & Signoff panel on the Miscellaneous configuration template to enable or disable the PAQ signoff functionality and Provider Reviewed check box. If the location of the provider is configured for PAQ signoff, the Provider Reviewed check box and its associated fields are not displayed in the History panel. Configure Scribe Approval for Submitting Charges

On the Specialty Config Home template, select Practice from the left navigation bar. The IORTS Practice Configuration template opens. Expand the Finalize Visit Settings panel. To make the scribe's approval required for submitting charges on scribe encounters, select the Require Scribe Sign-off before submitting on Finalize Visit checkbox. Mark the Encounter as a Scribe Encounter

The Scribe Encounter button is only available on the Home template. If a scribe is being used for this encounter, click the Scribe Encounter button. The Scribe Encounter window opens. Select the This is a Scribe Encounter check box. Click Close. Scribe sign-off fields appear in templates for the encounter. User Sign-Off

The Sign off checkboxes are based on the selected visit type. Each sign off checkbox is tied to specific security groups, as configured on the System Configuration system template. Sign off fields for the Chiro Single Visit template Upon submitting Fee Sheet, the signoff happens automatically for the therapist or supervising therapist. If your system is configured to require a supervising signature, an assistant, a new grad or a student will not be able to submit billing. They will be instructed to sign off on the Single Visit template. Upon signoff, a task is sent to the supervising therapist to let them know that there is a chart ready for review.
