User Sign-Off

The Sign off checkboxes are based on the selected visit type. Each sign-off checkbox is linked to specific security groups, as configured on the System Configuration system template. Sign off fields When Fee Sheet is submitted, the sign-off happens automatically for the therapist or supervising therapist. If your application is configured to require a supervising signature, an assistant, a new grad, or a student cannot submit the bill. They are instructed to sign off on the Single Visit template. After the sign-off, a task is sent to the supervising therapist to let them know that there is a chart ready for review. The visit type selected determines which sign off boxes appear at the bottom of the template below the panels. Each sign off checkbox is tied to specific security groups as configured in the System Configuration system template. Sign off fields Upon submission of the Fee sheet, the system automatically marks the sign off checkbox for the Audiologist or Supervising Audiologist. If your system is configured to require a supervising signature, then a New Grad or Student will not be able to submit billing. They will be instructed to sign off on the Single Visit template. Upon signoff, a task is sent to the supervising audiologist to let them know that there is a chart ready for review. When they review and submit charges, the Supervising Audiologist Sign off checkbox is automatically marked as signed off. Note: Four additional/configurable signoff fields may be configured. Chiro Single Visit Bottom Section

The section below the panels of the Chiro Single Visit template has fields to document: visit time, patient visit frequency and duration, provider signoff, and carbon copies. Fields in the bottom section of the Chiro Single Visit template Frequency and Duration You can enter the frequency and duration of a patient's treatment. Visit Time You can either document start and end time to calculate the patient's visit time or document the time manually in the corresponding field. User Defined Signoff

Use this section to configure additional sign-off options to suit the needs of your practice. There are four user-configurable signature fields. Select a row in the grid. Enter the label that you want to see for the checkbox on Single Visit (for example, Additional Therapist, External Physician, Ordering Physician, or Treatment Coordinator). User Defined Signoff grid in the Security Groups and Sign Off section of the System Config template If you want the document to show a heading above that signer’s name, enter it in the field below the Doc Header column. Note: NextGen Healthcare suggests text that indicates that the person signed electronically. Assign permission based on the signoff rights at the top of the NTS System Config template. You can select 'ALL'. Use the Yes checkbox below the Generate Doc column to specify if you would like new documents to be generated when that sign off checkbox is checked. Sign Off as Scribe

If the Scribe Encounter checkbox on the Home template is selected for the current encounter, the scribe can sign off before submitting charges or the provider signs off on the Finalize Visit template. Select the Scribe signoff checkbox. Scribe signoff check box on the Billable Visit template This enters the user’s name with a date and timestamp, and generates the document if PAQ functionality is enabled. Note: You can make the scribe's approval required or optional for submitting charges on scribe encounters by using the Finalize Visit Settings panel of the IORTS Practice Configuration template.
