You can document the details of therapy orders for orthopedic patients.
- Open the Home or any other applicable template, select Orders from the upper navigation bar, and then select Single Order.
- Expand the Therapy panel.
- Select an option to indicate if the patient is referred internally or externally for therapy.
- Select the date of injury, and then select the necessary treatment.
- Optional: Select other appropriate checkboxes for the therapy order.
- Optional: In Other physician goals, enter any additional information.
- Optional: Enter the certification period for the therapy order.
- Enter the weekly frequency and additional details.
Note: You can enter the weekly frequency and duration, or only the number of visits required for therapy. Selecting the Up to Therapist checkbox eliminates the need to enter the weekly frequency, duration, and number of visits.
- Optional: To enter the provider information for NextGen® Automated Document Sharing in the Patient Providers window, select the CC Provider 4 checkbox.
Note: The provider details from the Patient Providers window automatically appear in CC Provider 4. If NextGen® Automated Document Sharing is installed and configured, the therapy order document is automatically faxed to the provider when placing the order.
