On the Test Results template, the following fields are automatically filled with the values added on the Patient Contact template. You can also manually enter or update the values.

On the Home template, click the Patient Contact link, and select Test Results from the list.
The Test Results template opens.
Type the name of the clinical staff.
Note: You can also double-click the Clinical Staff? field, and select the name from the list.
In the Tests panel, select the tests performed and their results.
In the Orders panel, do the following:
Select the provider orders for the test results.
Note: If the selected order has an associated list, select a value from the list.
To add an internal referral, click Int. Referral, and place an internal referral on the Referrals template.
To add the medications, click Meds, and prescribe the medications in the Medications module.
To place an order for therapy, click Therapy Order, and place the order on the Therapy Order template.
In the Actions panel, select the actions taken.
Note: If you select LMOM or NA/NM, select the date and time of the action in the calendar and time windows.
In the Messages panel, do the following:
Type the message in the Message field.
Note: By default, the message is added from the data selected in the Tests, Orders, and Actions panels.
Click Add Message to add it to the grid.
Click the Clinical Staff User? field, and select the staff name.
To assign tasks, click the Task Provider or Task Staff icon, and create a task for the provider or staff.
Select Template Complete.
The fields on this template are disabled, the Admin Override button and the Create Document icon are enabled, and the Patient Contact Summary document is generated.
Note: You can also click Create Document icon to generate the Patient Contact Summary document again.
To edit the documented values in the fields, click Admin Override, and update the fields as needed.

To create referral letters, do the following:
Click Referral Letters.
The IORTS Consult Document window opens.
Select a referral from the grid.
To generate a referral letter, click Referral Letter.
The Referral Request Letter document is generated.
To generate a referral document, click Referral Document.
The Referral Communication Form document is generated.
