Providers can document their interpretation of results for Retinal diagnostic tests on the Retinal Diagnostic Test Report – OPH template.
- Access the Retina Diagnostics template set.
- Select the DX Interpretation tab.
The DX Interpretation - OPH template opens.
- From the Ordered Diagnostic Tests section, select the Show 'Obtained' option to filter what appears in the Orders grid.
- Click the Interpret Test link below the Orders grid.

- On the Retinal Diagnostic Test Report - OPH template, select the row in the Orders grid with the test order you wish to interpret.
Details for the selected row appear in the data fields in the
Selected Test Details section below the grid. The panel for the selected test expands.
Note: Only Fundus photos (Color photos), FA, ICG, OCT, B-Scan, and Microperimetry can be interpreted using the Retinal Diagnostic Test Report – OPH template.
- On the associated test panel, enter interpretation values for the selected test.
Enter information by clicking the fields and selecting values from lists or a numeric keypad or by selecting check boxes.
A descriptive summary builds in the large Interpretation text field on the panel.
- To document an interpretation for another test, click Save & Add New.
Your interpretation is saved. You can select the next test from the grid.
- When you have finished, click Save & Close to return to the Dx Interpretation - OPH template.
