Review Diagnostic Test Reports for this Encounter

You can view the Retina diagnostic test reports with the provider's interpretation included on this encounter's document on the Retinal Diagnostic Test Report - OPH template (seen as the DX Test Reports). This includes Fundus photos, Fluorescein angiography, ICG angiography, OCT, B-scan, Microperimetry, Impression, and notes or complications. Access the Retina Diagnostics template set. Select the DX Test Reports tab.The DX Test Reports - OPH template opens. dx tests reports - oph template To document findings with the Ophthalmology Drawing module, click Draw. Retinal Diagnostics

Retinal diagnostics are ordered and scheduled, performed, and results documented and interpreted on the 4-tab Retinal Diagnostics template set. The Retinal Diagnostics template set can be opened from the Procedures – OPH template using the Retina Diagnostics link. Depending on the diagnostic test, actual testing performed by the technician can be completed on the Perform Test template of the Retinal Diagnostics template set or on the Testing - OPH template. Document an Interpretation for Pachymetry Findings (Providers)

Providers can review Pachymetry findings and document an interpretation. Access the Testing – OPH template. On the Ordered Diagnostic Tests panel, select the option to Show Obtained tests. The grid refreshes to display obtained ophthalmology diagnostic tests. Highlight the appropriate pachymetry test in the grid. Details for the selected test display in the Selected Test Details fields below the grid. Expand the Pachymetry panel. To document an interpretation of findings, click the Pachymetry Interpretation field for the appropriate eye (OD, OS) and emte the interpretation. Enter comments in the Pachymetry Comments field. To indicate that the test is completed, click the Test Completed button in the Pachymetry panel. The status of the test changes to completed and the Test completed indicator appears. Access the Retina Diagnostics Template Set

You can order, perform, interpret, and report results for Retina diagnostic testing using the Retina Diagnostics tabbed template set. Access the Procedures - OPH template. From the Procedures - OPH template, click the Retina Diagnostics link. The Retina Diagnostics tabbed template set opens to the Request Diagnostic Tests - OPH template (seen as the Request Diagnostic Tests tab). Update an Order to Indicate the Diagnostic Test was Performed

After performing a Retinal diagnostic test, technicians can update the test order to indicate that the test was performed. Access the Retina Diagnostics template set. Select the Perform Test tab.The Retina Perform Diagnostic Test - OPH template opens. From the Ordered Diagnostic Tests section, select the Show Ordered option to filter what appears in the Orders grid. In the Orders grid, select the row in the grid with the order you wish to update. Details for the selected row appear in the data fields in the Selected Test Details section below the grid. To document notes and complications, in the Selected Test Details section, enter the text in the large Notes/complications field.
