Performing Diagnostic Tests for Retina

The Retina Perform Diagnostic Test – OPH template (seen as the Perform Test tab) is generally used by technicians after completing the ordered tests to document the completion of Retina diagnostic testing and to notify the provider. Note: Some tests are documented on the Testing - OPH template when they are performed and completed by the technician. The Perform Testtab of the Retina Diagnostics tabbed template set. Access the Retina Diagnostics Template Set

You can order, perform, interpret, and report results for Retina diagnostic testing using the Retina Diagnostics tabbed template set. Access the Procedures - OPH template. From the Procedures - OPH template, click the Retina Diagnostics link. The Retina Diagnostics tabbed template set opens to the Request Diagnostic Tests - OPH template (seen as the Request Diagnostic Tests tab). Request Retina Diagnostic Testing

From the Request Diagnostic Tests tab of the Retina Diagnostics tabbed template set, providers can schedule one or more tests and task a technician with completing those tests using the Order Tests - OPH template. Access the Retina Diagnostics template set. On the Request Diagnostic Tests tab below the Orders grid, click Add New. The Order Tests - OPH template opens. Document Interpretation of Diagnostic Test Results

Providers can document their interpretation of results for Retinal diagnostic tests on the Retinal Diagnostic Test Report – OPH template. Access the Retina Diagnostics template set. Select the DX Interpretation tab.The DX Interpretation - OPH template opens. From the Ordered Diagnostic Tests section, select the Show 'Obtained' option to filter what appears in the Orders grid. Click the Interpret Test link below the Orders grid. The Retinal Diagnostic Test Report – OPH template opens, showing Obtained Retinal diagnostic tests in the Orders grid. Review Diagnostic Test Reports for this Encounter

You can view the Retina diagnostic test reports with the provider's interpretation included on this encounter's document on the Retinal Diagnostic Test Report - OPH template (seen as the DX Test Reports). This includes Fundus photos, Fluorescein angiography, ICG angiography, OCT, B-scan, Microperimetry, Impression, and notes or complications. Access the Retina Diagnostics template set. Select the DX Test Reports tab.The DX Test Reports - OPH template opens. dx tests reports - oph template To document findings with the Ophthalmology Drawing module, click Draw.
