NextGen® Mobile Modules

Section	Description
Jobs	Displays the count of the current and previous day jobs.
PAQ	Displays the count of the Provider Approval Queue (PAQ) tasks in the module. Note: Displays up to 99 PAQ items. The PAQ view is available only for clinics that have NextGen® Enterprise EHR configured to support the PAQ.
Refill Requests	Displays the count of refill requests in the module.
Tasks	Displays the count of total and high priority tasks.
Ready for Review	Displays jobs sent for device edit that are now ready for review.
Charges	Displays the count of charges completed in the last seven days.
UPCOMING APPOINTMENTS	Displays the next two upcoming appointments for the current date along with the patient demographics, patient-tracking status, and status icon if a resource is selected. Note: You can select an appointment to open Patient Chart. For NextGen clinics, in Facesheet of Patient Chart, you can view the future appointments scheduled for seven days, one month, three months, and six months.
UPCOMING STAYS	Displays the next three upcoming appointments if a department is selected. Note: The UPCOMING STAYS section is available if your clinic is configured as an acute care facility. Note: You can select an appointment to open Patient Chart.

Overview of the Provider Approval Queue

You can use the Provider Approval Queue (PAQ) in NextGen® Mobile to review and resolve PAQ items received from NextGen® Enterprise EHR. You can view PAQ items by selecting PAQ on the Hub view or from the job list. You can sort the list to switch between newest or oldest items. You can use the PAQ filters to view the required items. Note: The PAQ window is available only if the PAQ is configured for the clinic’s NextGen® Enterprise EHR. NextGen® Mobile supports the following PAQ items: Lab orders NextGen® Enterprise EHR documents Images NextGen® Document Management scanned items SAP® Crystal Reports® You can view a PAQ item, and do the following: Sign off on the item Open the patient chart from the item Reject or reassign the item Add a note to the item Create tasks for yourself or other users from the item Note: You cannot create tasks for reports created with SAP® Crystal Reports®software. Note: You must set up the necessary configurations to view the modules in Hub. The number of pending tasks changes based on the selected filters. Note: You can modify the appearance of Hub by adding or removing the modules in Hub Settings. Hub modules are not available to open when the device is offline. If you have permission for jobs only, Hub displays only the Jobs module. If you have permission for schedules, and stays only, the modules in Hub, Hub Settings, and UPCOMING APPOINTMENTS are not available, and a message instructs you to contact the support team. Provider Approval Queue

To use the PAQ, you must enable it first and set up the provider assignment and relationship, required signoff items, and operations rights in the System Administrator application. As a provider or delegate, you can access the PAQ from the Workflow module. Note: A patient Inclusion or Exclusion List may restrict your access to PAQ items. If you are a workflow delegate for another user or provider, you may not be able to access the same PAQ items as that person. If you do not have access to a patient, the Restricted message appears under the Patient and Description columns. View Details in Patient Charts

Before you begin You must have the necessary permissions to view and edit the patient chart and demographic details. Open NextGen® Mobile. On Hub, search for and select a patient from the advanced search. You can also open Patient Chart from the dictation job view, schedule, PAQ, and patient messages. Note: If you do not set your NextGen® Enterprise defaults in NextGen® Mobile, Patient Chart opens in the generic view, where the Charges section does not display any charges, and the Diagnosis module is not available. Patient Chart opens displaying the patient's general information and the NextGen® PxP Portal enrollment status. You can also view the encounter and practice details for NextGen® Enterprise users, and schedule and practice details for non-NextGen® Enterprise users.
