The electronic visit verification (EVV) process uses electronic means to verify the physical location of an encounter with a care provider for personal or home healthcare services. NextGen® Mobile allows EVV using a tap template job that collects and verifies your location using your mobile device's built-in GPS. After you verify your location, you can send the location data to NextGen® Enterprise EHR, where it is saved for the encounter. Any document generated from the encounter is automatically appended with an EVV statement containing the location data and verification status for the provided services.
