To add patient demographic information to a generic job, ensure that your clinic sets up a job type to provide tags to dictate demographic information.
You can add a generic job for a new patient in unscheduled encounters, or a patient visiting another provider. You can add generic jobs for the current date.
Open NextGen® Mobile.
Hub opens.
Select Jobs.
Details of the available jobs on the current date appear. If another provider queue is added to your job list, the provider job queue indicator appears with the job type.
To add a job, do one of the following:
Select the add icon, and then select New Job.
From the toolbar, select Dictate to opening the patient chart, and then select Create.
To add a job using offline dictation when the device is not connected to a wireless or cellular network, raise a support request in NextGen Healthcare Success Community.
From the list of job options, select Generic Job.
The generic job appears with the default job type selected.
Note: Your system administrator can set up the default job type. You can update the generic job type in Settings.
To dictate, select Record, select Stop, and then select Send.
Note: You can also raise a support request in NextGen Healthcare Success Community to add a job using offline dictation when the device is not connected to a wireless or cellular network.
The job is sent to NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal and your Completed Jobs list.
