Edit Dictation using Device Edit

You can use the Device Edit option to view a draft of the recorded dictation return to your mobile device for review and editing. Open NextGen® Mobile. Open a dictation job, and then record the dictation. From the edit options, select Device Edit. Edit options To send the dictation, select Send. When the job is ready, in Hub, select Ready for Review.The job appears in the Ready For Review view. Jobs ready for review To edit, select the job from the list. The Draft Review view opens displaying the dictation text. You can view the patient details and the sections listed, and then review the transcription. To edit the dictation text, select and hold a word to select it.The text is highlighted and the editing toolbar and keyboard appear. Mark a Job as Stat

If you are sending a job to transcription using Send to Transcription Transcription icon, you can request a two hour turnaround time for the dictation to return to NextGen® Enterprise EHR or designated location by marking the job as stat Stat flag. You can use this option in NextGen® Mobile dictation streaming, NextGen® Mobile dictation rhythm, and classic dictation - non rhythm workflows. Note: The Send to Transcription option is not available for NextGen® Mobile users integrated with NextGen® Speech-to-Text (STT). Open NextGen® Mobile. Open a dictation job. Select Record Dictation.The Stop button appears with a timer for recording your dictation. Select stat flag Stat flag.The dictation is prioritized when it is sent. Record Dictation without Tags When the Text Box is Open

Open NextGen® Mobile. Open a dictation job.The streaming text box opens displaying the Record Dictation message. Select Record. Record dictation without tags while the text box is open The recording starts and the Stop button appears with a timer indicating the recorded duration of your dictation. Begin speaking. The text capture of your dictation appears in the streaming text box. If the recorded audio exists, the new dictation is added to the end of the recording. If you select anywhere on the text while recording a dictation, the text is inserted at the selected location, but the audio is added to the end of the existing audio file. Note: If you select the back button while recording a dictation, the dictated note is not saved. Note: If using NextGen® Speech-to-Text, say the month name instead of the number. Open NextGen® Mobile. Open a dictation job. Select the tag you want to dictate into.If the tag does not contain previously recorded audio, the recording begins immediately, and the STOP icon appears. If the tag contains previously recorded audio, the REC icon appears, and you have to select the tag again to record. Begin speaking.The audio waves track your dictation, and the timer displays the current location of the recording head and the total duration of the recording. If recorded audio exists, the new dictation is added to the end of the recording. To stop or pause the recording in the current tag, select the tag that you are dictating.The transcribed text of your dictation appears in the streaming text box. Note: When the transcription system completes the transcription of the dictated notes, you can edit the dictation text without changing the associated audio file. The dictation is ready for editing in NextGen® Mobile, and the job is removed from your job list. The dictation completion icon appears on the Schedule view. Note: To add observations about the dictation in the NextGen Speech-to-Text Survey window, select Take Survey > NextGen Dictation, enter your feedback, and then select Finish and Submit.
