Start Virtual Visits

Virtual visit patients do not come to your office. When the virtual-visit scheduled patients check in, a virtual and scribe-enabled visits icon Virtual and scribe-enabled visits icon appears in the Schedule view. Open NextGen® Mobile. On the menu bar, select Schedule Schedule view icon. The Resources view opens with the list of resources. Search for and select the resources. The Schedule view opens. On the Schedule view entry of the patient, select Join. Schedule view for virtual visit The Virtual Patient view opens. Start Live Scribe Visits

When the live-scribe scheduled patients check in, a virtual and scribe-enabled visits icon Virtual and scribe-enabled visits icon appears in the Schedule view. For a live-scribe visit, a scribe has access to join your scheduled visit and take care of the dictations live. Note: If you have synced your device calendar with your schedule, any meeting link from Microsoft® Teams or Google Meet™ having the title Live Scribe appears with the virtual and scribe-enabled visits icon Virtual and scribe-enabled visits icon in the Schedule view. Open NextGen® Mobile. On the menu bar, select Schedule Schedule view icon. The Resources view opens with the list of resources. Search for and select the resources. The Schedule view opens. You can check the following patient information in the Schedule view: Patient demographics Appointment time and status Location Appointment life-cycle status with unique color check-in indicators. Note: The status and check-in indicators are based on the patient details in Patient Tracking in NextGen® Enterprise EHR version 6.0 and above and Workflow Status in NextGen® Enterprise PM. Workflow completion for a patient Room details, if recorded in NextGen® Enterprise EHRNote: The room details are based on the information in PAQ > Apts > Room. Reason for visit when recorded on the appointment in NextGen® Enterprise PMNote: The reason for visit is based on the information in PAQ > Apts > Reason for Visit. Filter Appointment Schedules

You can check appointment schedules for the selected resources in Schedule. You can edit the view to display only the checked-in patients or current-time events. Open NextGen® Mobile. On the menu bar, select Schedule Schedule view icon. The Resources view opens with the list of resources. Search for and select the resources. The Schedule view opens. Select Filter icon.The appointment filter menu opens. Appointment filter menu To filter the list to display patients who have checked in, select Only Show Checkin. To receive the immediate next and prior appointments or events based on the present time, select Real-Time Schedule View. View Details in Patient Charts

Before you begin You must have the necessary permissions to view and edit the patient chart and demographic details. Open NextGen® Mobile. On Hub, search for and select a patient from the advanced search. You can also open Patient Chart from the dictation job view, schedule, PAQ, and patient messages. Note: If you do not set your NextGen® Enterprise defaults in NextGen® Mobile, Patient Chart opens in the generic view, where the Charges section does not display any charges, and the Diagnosis module is not available. Patient Chart opens displaying the patient's general information and the NextGen® PxP Portal enrollment status. You can also view the encounter and practice details for NextGen® Enterprise users, and schedule and practice details for non-NextGen® Enterprise users. View Patient Appointments

Before you begin You must ensure that you have an active license for NextGen® Enterprise PM. In NextGen® Enterprise EHR Appointments Quick Button, you can view patients future and past appointments based on configuration. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookup window. On the Quick Buttons panel, hover over Appointments.The Appointments table appears displaying the configuration message, the patient's future and recent past appointments and date and time, status, resource or provider, location and reason columns. When the View by Resource is selected in the Inbox module of NextGen® Enterprise EHR, the resource column appears in the Appointments table; similarly, when the View by Provider is selected, the provider column appears. Note: The patient's future appointments appear first on the Appointments table, highlighted in bold text, followed by recent past appointments.
