Add Office Visit and Charge Details

  1. Open NextGen® Mobile.
  2. Open the Patient Chart view.
  3. Select Today's Visit.
  4. Select Charges.
    In Charges, the previously added office visit and procedure codes appear.
  5. In the Office Visit section, select Add
    In Office Visit, the available office visit modules are listed.
  6. Optional: To turn on additional office visit modules, do the following:
    1. Select the settings icon.
    2. In the Office Visit Settings view, select the modules, and then select Save.
  7. To add an office visit to a charge, select office visit codes from the modules, and then select Add.
    In Charges, the office visit codes are added.
  8. To add charge details for the newly added visit, in Charges, select the added office visit.
    The Charges Details view opens with the encounter date and units value.
  9. To adjust the charge units, select the value in Units, and then enter the new value.
  10. Select the appropriate options for Hospital/Facility Code and Suppress Billing.
  11. To add modifiers, select Add Modifiers, and then search for and select modifiers.
  12. To add diagnoses, select Add Diagnosis, and then search for and select diagnoses.
    In Charges Details, the added modifiers and diagnoses are displayed.

  13. Select Done.
    The Charges view displays details about the added office visit.
