Options for Adding Diagnosis Codes

In the Diagnosis (Dx) section of Today's Visit, you can select and add multiple diagnosis codes at a time from various options. You can rearrange the order of the diagnosis codes, and update and delete the added diagnosis codes. Note: You can use 25 complimentary diagnosis workflows per month. For unlimited use of diagnosis workflow, you must upgrade to the NextGen® Mobile Plus or NextGen® Mobile Pro package. You can select Contact Me on the notification to request the NextGen Healthcare Sales team to contact you. Diagnosis Options Tabs Description Previous Displays the diagnosis codes previously added to that patient's chart. Popular Displays the diagnosis codes commonly used by the provider. Codes are added to the Popular section after being added for two or more times. Suggested Displays relevant diagnosis codes based on the NextGen® Ambient Assist generated note. Search Displays the diagnosis codes when you search for assessments. You can enter or dictate the patient conditions or

Add Office Visit and Charge Details

Open NextGen® Mobile. Open the Patient Chart view. Select Today's Visit. Note: You must add or select an unlocked encounter. Select Charges.In Charges, the previously added office visit and procedure codes appear. In the Office Visit section, select AddIn Office Visit, the available office visit modules are listed. Optional: To turn on additional office visit modules, do the following: Select the settings icon. In the Office Visit Settings view, select the modules, and then select Save. Note: By default, the New Visit and Established Visit modules are available. You can change the module levels based on complexity or tier levels. You can also reorder the modules by selecting and moving a module within the list. To add an office visit to a charge, select office visit codes from the modules, and then select Add. Add Procedures Associated with Charges

Open NextGen® Mobile. Open the Patient Chart view. Select Today's Visit. Note: You must add or select an unlocked encounter. Select Charges. In the Procedures section, select Add.In Procedures, the favorite procedures are displayed. Procedures view displaying the favorite procedure groups To create a favorite procedure group, do the following: In Favorites, select Add, and then enter a group name. Select + Add Procedures, search for procedure codes or name, and then select the procedures from the list.The procedure group appears on the Favorites tab. You can also map modifiers to the favorite procedures, and select Edit to update the added procedure groups. To add procedures associated with a charge, do one of the following: In Favorites, select the favorite procedure groups, select the procedure codes, and then select Add. In Previous, select the procedure codes added for previous encounters, and then select Add. In Search, enter the procedure name or code to search for and select the

Add Charges for Patients

You can search and add charges for a patient. If you are a NextGen® Enterprise user, when you search for a charge, NextGen® Mobile searches your practice's Service Item Master (SIM) library. If you are not a NextGen® Enterprise user, NextGen® Mobile does an IMO code search. Open NextGen® Mobile. Open the Patient Chart view. Patient Chart view In the Charges section, select New Charge. The New Charge view opens. New Charge view Note: The Date of Service displays the current date. To change the Date of Service, select the date. The calendar opens. You can select a date and then select . Note: You cannot select a future date. To select a charge, select the charge in the Quick Picks section. The Quick Picks section displays either the charges that you have used at least twice for the patient or the charges appropriate for the current location. Suppress Billing or Add Modifiers

Open NextGen® Mobile. Open the Patient Chart view. Patient Chart view In the Charges section, select New Charge. The New Charge view opens. In the Search New Charges field, enter the name of the charge. The Quick Picks section displays the charges that you have used at least twice for the patient or the charges appropriate for the current location. Charge Details view To suppress billing, select Suppress Billing. To adjust the units, select the value in Units and enter value. Add a Procedure to a Patient Chart

You can add a procedure to a patient chart from the Procedures module. You can also add procedure to a patient chart on charge submission of an order from the Orders module. The information entered in the Procedures module fields appears in the procedures list on the Procedures window. You can scroll across the procedure list area to view all the columns. The procedures you add also appear in the selected encounter for the patient and in the Superbill module. Open the Procedures module. Enter or select a procedure. To select the service date, do the following: Select the ellipsis button to display the calendar. Select a date. Select OK. Select Start/Stop Time. Note: When you select Start/Stop Time, the current time is selected by default. To change a time, you can select the hours, minutes, and AM/PM fields and then select the up or down arrow.
