In the Charges section of Today's Visit, you can select and add multiple charges to bill for a patient, based on the office visit and procedures done. You can also update and delete patient charges.
Note: You can use the charge workflow 25 times per month. For unlimited use of the charge workflow from Today's Visit, you must upgrade to the NextGen® Mobile Plus or NextGen® Mobile Pro package.
Open NextGen® Mobile.
Open the Patient Chart view.
Select Today's Visit.
Note: You must add or select an unlocked encounter.
Select Charges.
In the Charges view, add office visits, and then add charge details such as modifiers and diagnoses for those office visits.
Add the procedures performed for the patient.
Note: You can add procedures from favorite groups and previous encounters or search for and add procedure codes.
Select Submit.
Note:NextGen® Mobile uses the same place of service code as mapped in SIM library. If the SIM library does not have any value for place of service, then the default value is 11. If any changes required, you can update the value before submitting the charges.
The Charges section in Today's Visit displays the added patient charges.
Add Office Visit and Charge Details You can add office visit, modifiers, and diagnoses when adding charges for patients. You can also turn on office visit groups or turn them off.
