Note: You must add or select an unlocked encounter.
Select Charges.
In Charges, the previously added office visit and procedure codes appear.
In the Office Visit section, select Add
In Office Visit, the available office visit modules are listed.
Optional: To turn on additional office visit modules, do the following:
Select the settings icon.
In the Office Visit Settings view, select the modules, and then select Save.
Note: By default, the New Visit and Established Visit modules are available.
You can change the module levels based on complexity or tier levels. You can also reorder the modules by selecting and moving a module within the list.
To add an office visit to a charge, select office visit codes from the modules, and then select Add.
Note: You can select only one office visit code either from the new modules or from the established modules.
In Charges, the office visit codes are added.
To add charge details for the newly added visit, in Charges, select the added office visit.
The Charges Details view opens with the encounter date and units value.
To adjust the charge units, select the value in Units, and then enter the new value.
Note: The unit value must be one or more.
Select the appropriate options for Hospital/Facility Code and Suppress Billing.
To add modifiers, select Add Modifiers, and then search for and select modifiers.
Note: You can add a maximum of four modifiers to a charge.
To add diagnoses, select Add Diagnosis, and then search for and select diagnoses.
In Charges Details, the added modifiers and diagnoses are displayed.
Select Done.
The Charges view displays details about the added office visit.
