Suppress Billing or Add Modifiers
Open
NextGen® Mobile

Open the
Patient Chart
view.
In the
Charges
section, select
New Charge
.
The
New Charge
view opens.
Note:
The
Date of Service
displays the current date.
To select a charge, do one of the following:
In the
Quick Picks
section, select the charge.
In the
Search New Charges
field, enter the name of the charge.
The
Quick Picks
section displays the charges that you have used at least twice for the patient or the charges appropriate for the current location.
The selected charge appears under the service date heading.
To update the charge details, select
Edit
.
The
Charge Details
view opens.
To suppress billing, select
Suppress Billing
.
To adjust the units, select the value in
Units
and enter value.
To attach modifiers to the charge, select
Edit
to the right of
Modifiers
.
The
Modifiers
view opens with a list of modifiers.
You can filter the list by entering the search text in
Filter Modifiers
.
Select modifiers from the list.
You can select up to four modifiers.
Select
Charge Details
.
The
Charge Details
view opens with the selected modifiers.

Open NextGen® Mobile. Open the Patient Chart view. Patient Chart view In the Charges section, select New Charge. The New Charge view opens. Add Charges for Patients
You can search and add charges for a patient. If you are a NextGen® Enterprise user, when you search for a charge, NextGen® Mobile searches your practice's Service Item Master (SIM) library. If you are not a NextGen® Enterprise user, NextGen® Mobile does an IMO code search. Open NextGen® Mobile. Open the Patient Chart view. Patient Chart view In the Charges section, select New Charge. The New Charge view opens. New Charge view Note: The Date of Service displays the current date. To change the Date of Service, select the date. The calendar opens. You can select a date and then select . Note: You cannot select a future date. To select a charge, select the charge in the Quick Picks section. Add Office Visit and Charge Details
Open NextGen® Mobile. Open the Patient Chart view. Select Today's Visit. Note: You must add or select an unlocked encounter. Select Charges.In Charges, the previously added office visit and procedure codes appear. In the Office Visit section, select AddIn Office Visit, the available office visit modules are listed. Optional: To turn on additional office visit modules, do the following: Select the settings icon. In the Office Visit Settings view, select the modules, and then select Save. Note: By default, the New Visit and Established Visit modules are available. You can change the module levels based on complexity or tier levels. You can also reorder the modules by selecting and moving a module within the list. To add an office visit to a charge, select office visit codes from the modules, and then select Add. View Current Charges for Patients
From the Hub view, you can view the list of charges for your patients in the last seven days. You can search for patient charges older than seven days using the advanced search Search icon. Open NextGen® Mobile. The Hub view opens. Select Charges. The Charges view appears listing all the charges you have entered for patients during the previous seven days. To view the details of a charge, select the patient name from the list. The Charge Review view opens. Charge Review view To review any images associated with the charge, select the image. You can zoom in or out the image. To view the details of a listed procedure, in the Procedures section, select View. The Charge Details view opens with the procedure details. You can check if billing is suppressed for the procedure and view the entered modifiers. Charge Details view Optional: To search for a charge, select Search icon, and then enter your search criteria.
