Options for Adding Diagnosis Codes

In the Diagnosis (Dx) section of Today's Visit, you can select and add multiple diagnosis codes at a time from various options. You can rearrange the order of the diagnosis codes, and update and delete the added diagnosis codes. Note: You can use 25 complimentary diagnosis workflows per month. For unlimited use of diagnosis workflow, you must upgrade to the NextGen® Mobile Plus or NextGen® Mobile Pro package. You can select Contact Me on the notification to request the NextGen Healthcare Sales team to contact you. Diagnosis Options Tabs Description Previous Displays the diagnosis codes previously added to that patient's chart. Popular Displays the diagnosis codes commonly used by the provider. Codes are added to the Popular section after being added for two or more times. Suggested Displays relevant diagnosis codes based on the NextGen® Ambient Assist generated note. Search Displays the diagnosis codes when you search for assessments. You can enter or dictate the patient conditions or

Search for Diagnoses Codes

Open NextGen® Mobile. Open a patient chart. Select the Diagnostic icon. To add a diagnosis to the encounter, select Add Diagnosis. The Add Diagnosis view opens. Add diagnosis for a patient encounter Enter your search criteria in the Search field. You can enter incomplete phrases. The list of codes matching your query appears. Some codes are multi-tiered, indicated by arrow icon. To view the encounter type or any other category associated with the code, select Arrow icon. A list of the available category types appears. Select the desired category type. The associated codes appear. To add a diagnosis code from the search results list, select the desired diagnosis code or select a diagnosis, and then select Add to add the code to the patient encounter. Add Diagnoses Codes to Patient Encounters

Open NextGen® Mobile. Open a patient chart. The Patient Chart view opens. Patient Chart view Select the Diagnostic icon. The Diagnosis view opens with the active diagnoses codes applied to the patient. It also displays the patient's demographic and encounter details. To add a diagnosis to the encounter, select Add Diagnosis. The Add Diagnosis view opens. Add diagnosis for a patient encounter Select a diagnosis from Previous Patient Diagnosis or Commonly Used Diagnosis or search for a diagnosis code powered by IMO® terminology, enter a search criteria in the Search field, and then select a diagnosis from the search result. A view opens listing the details about the diagnosis code and other suggestions from the IMO database. Diagnosis code details To add a diagnosis code to the patient encounter, select Add. Map Patient Diagnoses to Tests

You can search for and select the patient's diagnoses to map to laboratory and radiology tests for the selected encounter. You can also remove the patient's diagnoses, if needed. Open NextGen® Mobile. Open the Patient Chart view for your patient. Select Today's Visit. Orders Section in Today's Visit Note: You must select an unlocked encounter or you can create an encounter. In NextGen® Mobile, the Orders section is available for NextGen® Enterprise EHR version 6.0 and later. Select + Add next to Orders. The + Add option is not available on locked encounters and for non-NextGen® Enterprise users. The Select Order Type view opens displaying the Laboratory and Radiology order types. Select an order type. Note: After upgrading, when you select an order type for the first-time, the Ambient Orders view opens with all the performing entities selected by default. Place Orders using NextGen® Ambient Assist

Before you begin Ensure that you have the permission for NextGen® Ambient Assist in NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal. You can select tests from the Suggested tab in Orders without manually searching, and send them to NextGen® Enterprise EHR. You can assign the task to yourself, a workgroup, or a NextGen® Enterprise user. Note: To select the ambient suggested tests, the generated ambient note must be available for the selected encounter. You can request and obtain NextGen® Ambient Assist trials. For unlimited NextGen® Ambient Assist orders, you must upgrade to the NextGen® Mobile Pro package. Open NextGen® Mobile. Managing Today's Visit

The Today’s Visit workflow provides an intuitive, single-screen for the entire clinical documentation workflow. In the Today's Visit tab on the Patient Chart view, you can review and add clinical documentation to the patient's encounter. You can turn on or turn off the Today's Visit tab in Admin Console and NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal for different product groups in your clinic. Today’s Visit is turned on by default for NextGen® Mobile Pro, NextGen® Mobile Plus, and NextGen® Mobile free users. Today's visit view NextGen® Ambient Assist is integrated with NextGen® Mobile and NextGen® Enterprise EHR for sending notes without having to copy and paste. You can select the feedback Feedback icon icon to enter your comments and submit to the NextGen® Mobile team. You can move this feedback icon to your required position on Today's Visit.
