Update an Adjusted Medication

Once the grid loads with the medication and adjusted quantities, you can update the quantity before sending it to the main inventory grid. Select the medication from the grid. The number in the New Qty column into the New Quantity field below the grid. Change the quantity in the New Quantity field. Select Update. Parent topic: Import Inventory Adjustments

Import Inventory Adjustments

Once all the quantities have been adjusted on the spreadsheet, and it’s been saved to the file folder as a Tab delimited, the inventory can be re-imported to automatically adjust existing quantities. Open the Inventory Management template. Select the Mass Inventory Update button to launch the MLTS inv Imp Exp Config template. Enter the inventory txt file name into the Import Filename field. Select the Load button. The inventory uploads to the grid. Medications with adjusted quantities appear at the top. Adjust Medications

You can adjust the quantity of non-vaccine medications in the medication inventory. On the Inventory Management template, expand the Medication Inventory panel. Select the Adjust option below the medication grid. The fields below the medication grid, except the Qty field, are disabled for editing. The Reason for Adjustment field and Adjust Quantity button appear below the medication grid. Filter the medications displayed in the grid for selecting the desired medication. Select the medication to be adjusted from the medication grid. The following fields are automatically filled based on the selected medication. Source Drug Name Manufacturer NDC Lot# JCode Unit Type Expiration Dt Barcode In the Qty field, enter the quantity to be adjusted in the inventory. Note: To adjust the quantity by a negative amount, you can add a negative sign to the quantity. Select the Reason for Adjustment field, select a reason from the adjustment window, and then select OK. Managing Medications in the Inventory

You can search for the medication inventory, view inventory details, and manage non-vaccine medications in the inventory. On the Inventory Management template, in the Medication Inventory panel, you can search for the medication inventory and view inventory details. The total number of items in the medication grid and the total quantity of the non-vaccine medications appear in the Grid Count and Grid Total fields respectively. You can also add, waste, adjust, and transfer non-vaccine medications in the medications grid. You can use the fields above the medication grid to filter medications based on a filter criteria. The filter criteria are specific to the selected location and sub-location, and the Sub-Location field appears only if it is configured in the Sub-Location(s) & Par Level Configuration panel on the Admin Configuration template. Update a Medication Quantity

You can change a quantity in the Medication Quantity Picklist. Select the field below the Medication column of the grid. The MLTS MedOnly PL picklist opens. Select the medication for which you want to change the picklist entry, and select OK. The medication and unit type enter the respective fields, and the grids shows all values currently in the picklist for that medication. Select the entry from the grid. The quantity enters the field below the Quantity column of the grid. Select the Quantity field. A Number Pad opens. Enter the new quantity and select OK. Select Update.
