Update a Medication Quantity
You can change a quantity in the
Medication Quantity Picklist
.
Select the field below the
Medication
column of the grid.
The
MLTS MedOnly PL
picklist opens.
Select the medication for which you want to change the picklist entry, and select
OK
.
The medication and unit type enter the respective fields, and the grids shows all values currently in the picklist for that medication.
Select the entry from the grid.
The quantity enters the field below the
Quantity
column of the grid.
Select the Quantity field.
A Number Pad opens.
Enter the new quantity and select
OK
.
Select
Update
.
The picklist entry is updated in the grid. The medication name and unit type remain in the fields below the grid.

Build the Medication Quantity Picklist
You must add in all quantities of every medication that you expect to use. Select the field below the Medication column of the grid. The MLTS MedOnly PL picklist opens. Select the medication from the list and select OK. Note: Your selection in the Medication field also serves as a filter for the grid, so that you can see all entries for that medication. The medication enters the field and the read-only UnitType field fills in also. Select the field below the Quantity column. A Number Pad window opens. Enter the number and select OK. Select Add. The quantity is added to the grid. The medication and the unit type remain in the fields below the grid so that you can add other quantities for the same medication. Repeat steps 3-5 as needed to add other quantities for the selected medication. When finished adding quantities for that medication, repeat steps 1-6 to add other quantities for other medications. Enable/Disable the Quantity Picklist
The Enable Quantity Picklist check box controls whether a picklist or number pad opens for Quantity (Qty) fields on the medical records templates of the NextGen® Medication Inventory Control. To enable the picklist, mark the Enable Quantity Picklist check box. The MLTSmedQtyPL picklist will open when a user selects the Qty field. To disable the Quantity (Qty) field picklist, clear the Enable Quantity Picklist check box. Remove a Medication Quantity from the Picklist

Medication Quantity Picklists
Use the Medication Quantity Picklists panel to enable the quantity picklist that opens for medications on medical record templates, and to configure the picklist values for medication quantities. Note: You can build the picklist even if it is not enabled, however, building the picklist is only necessary if the picklist is enabled. Update an Adjusted Medication
Once the grid loads with the medication and adjusted quantities, you can update the quantity before sending it to the main inventory grid. Select the medication from the grid. The number in the New Qty column into the New Quantity field below the grid. Change the quantity in the New Quantity field. Select Update. Parent topic: Import Inventory Adjustments

Update Values in Admin Types Picklists
You can update an Admin Type description or CPT code. On the Medication Picklist system template, expand the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel. In the Template field, select MLTS_medAdmin_OPH. Select the procedure type Injection from the Procedures Types grid. The Admin Types grid displays administration types configured for that procedure. Select the administration type to update. The description and CPT code appear in the corresponding fields below the grid. Make the required updates, and select Update.
