Use Phrases to Document Information

You can use phrases available for you, rendering provider, other users, or all users (system set phrases) to quickly add information in the fields associated with the My Phrases feature. Open the INF MyPhrases Select template. Filter the phrases displayed in the grid as needed. Select the phrases to be added from the grid. The selected phrases are added to the Comments field. Select Save & Close. The phrases from the Comments field on the INF MyPhrases Select template are added to the corresponding field on the template. Filter Phrases on the My Phrases Management Template

You can filter the phrases displayed in the grid on the INF My Phrases Management template to update or delete them. Open the INF My Phrases Mng template. From Category Filter, select the desired category, and then select OK. The phrases added by you for the selected category appear in the grid. To include the deleted phrases to the grid, select the Show Deleted checkbox. The phrases deleted from your set appear in the grid along with the existing records. If you are a super user and want to update or delete system set phrases, select the System Set checkbox. Only the system set phrases with the selected category appear in the grid. If you have selected the Show Deleted checkbox, the deleted system set phrases also appear in the grid. Parent topic: Managing My Phrases and Common Phrases

Manage Phrases

You can update or delete your own phrases and modify the phrase text and name of the existing phrase to create another one. You cannot update or delete phrases of the rendering provider and other users. If you are a super user, you can update or delete the system set phrases. A super user is the person who maintains the standards and configurations for the practice. Open the INF My Phrases Mng template. Filter the phrases in the grid as needed. Select the phrase to be updated or deleted from the grid. The details of the selected phrase are filled in the corresponding fields. To update the phrases, update the details in the fields, and then select Update. To add the selected phrase as a new one without updating the original, update the details in the fields, and then select Add. To delete the selected phrase, select Delete. Open the My Phrases Select Template

You can open the INF My Phrases Select template through the appropriate field. From any appropriate template, select the Down Arrow icon or My Phrases link available for the field to be documented. The INF MyPhrases Select template opens. INF My Phrases Select template Note: By default, the phrases are displayed in the grid only for the category that is determined by the template or section it is opened from. Copy Phrases

You can copy phrases from another user’s set or system set to your own set of phrases. Open the INF My Phrases Mng template. Select Copy From User.The INF My Phrases Copy window opens. INF My Phrases Copy window Note: By default, the phrase type is selected as the product code. To filter the phrases in the User Name and My Phrases List grids, do the following: Note: You can select the asterisk (*) to view phrases of all users or categories. From Copy From, select a user, and then select OK. From Category, select a category. To copy specific phrases to your set, select the phrases to be copied from the User Name grid.The selected phrases are moved to the My Phrases List grid. To copy all phrases to your set, select the Copy All icon.All phrases from the User Name grid are moved to the My Phrases List grid. Add Phrases Through the Field

You can add the text entered in a field that has the My Phrases feature as a phrase. On the appropriate template, enter the phrase text in the field, and then select the Plus icon or Manage My Phrases link available for that field. The INF My Phrases Mng template opens with the following information: The My Phrase field is filled with the text you have entered. The Category field is filled with the name of the category or section on which you have entered the text. Optional: If you are a super user and want to add the phrase as a system set for all users, select the System Set checkbox. In Name, enter the name of the phrase. In My Phrase, update the text as needed. Select Add. The phrase is added to the grid. To return to the template where you are documenting details, select Close.
