Medications transferred to a location do not go directly to the location’s inventory. They appear in the grid under the Transfer Information panel from where you can check in the medications to inventory, return the medications to original location, or waste the medications.
- On the MICS Inventory Management system template, expand the Transfer information panel.
- Select the required medication from the grid.
The received quantity appears in the Quantity Received field.
- Optional: To check in the partial quantity, enter the required quantity in the Quantity Received field.
- Enter your comments in the Check In Comments field, and select Check In.
The medication is added to your inventory and available to be dispensed or administered to patients.
Note: If you check in the partial quantity, the status for remaining quantity is set to Discrepancy. You can either waste or return the remaining quantity.
