When you receive an Rx Change request and approve or deny the request, a notification is added to the patient's chart. The Encounter History displays the notifications as email items.
Note: To view a list of all Rx Change Request and Rx Change Response messages, you can open the eRx Status window and filter on the Message Type.
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from Patient Lookup window.
On the Encounter History tab, select an encounter and select the icon.
The Encounter Details window opens.
Under Documents & Images, select a notification.
Depending on the notification you select, the details display on the RxChange Prescription Request tab or the RxChange Prescription Response tab. Response message details include:
If approved or approved with changes, both the original and changed prescriptions.
If denied, original medication and the requested medication from the pharmacy.
