You can deny an RxChange request task from the Workflow module. When you deny an RxChange request task, NextGen® Enterprise EHR sends a notification to the pharmacy stating the reason for denial. The reason for denial depends on the RxChange request type.
- Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR and open the Workflow module.
- Select the Clinical Tasking tab and select an RxChange request from the task list.
The RxChange request details and patient information appears.
- Select Deny.
The reasons for denial appear.
Note: The reasons for denial may differ depending on the RxChange request type. If you configure custom denial reasons,
NextGen® Enterprise EHR includes eRx custom denial reasons in the denial reasons list. For more information on custom denial reasons, go to

- Select a reason for denial from the list.
The
Send RxChange Response window opens.
- Select Send.
The task appears as completed in Inbox.
