Export a Graph to NextGen® PxP Portal

You can add a note or comment and export a graph to NextGen® PxP Portal accounts as .pdf document files. CAUTION: The size of the graph must not exceed 15 MB. In System Administrator, you can set the size limit for documents that are sent to NextGen® PxP Portal. For more information, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest System Administrator Guide for NextGen® Enterprise. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the patient information bar, select Patient . The Patient Lookup window opens. Select a patient who is enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal. A list of the patient's encounters appear on the Encounter History tab. On the Encounter History tab, locate the graph to export. Sensitive encounters are identified by a sensitive encounter icon appears on the beside the encounter. Select the button. Select the item to export, and select the button. Select Send to Patient Portal. Note: The Send to Patient Portal option is disabled if the NextGen® PxP Portal license has exp

Save a Medical Records Template Chart to an Encounter

You can save a Medical Records template graph or a growth chart to the patient encounter on the Encounter History tab. After it is saved, you can open it and select options to print, fax, annotate, or export it, or add a signature. If the patient is enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal, you can export the saved graph to the patient NextGen® PxP Portal account for easy retrieval by the patient, parent, or guardian. You can also view NextGen® PxP Portal document export and receipt history for a graph. Open the patient to save the graph for to an encounter. Generate a Medical Records template or growth chart. Right-click the graph or growth chart (shown in example below), and select Save to Chart. The graph is saved under the selected encounter on the Encounter History tab and is visible when you expand the encounter.

The system also records when the patient opens the item from the NextGen® PxP Portal. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a NextGen® PxP Portal enrolled patient from the Patient Lookup window. NextGen® PxP Portal Document Export

You can export a patient document from the patient chart in NextGen® Enterprise EHR to the patient NextGen® PxP Portal account. You can export the patient document from the Encounter History or the Categories tab. Note: NextGen® Enterprise EHR enables you to export documents to the patient's NextGen® PxP Portal account in a number of other ways: From the File menu, you can select Export Patient Documents, or can select Patient Portal > Documents > Send EHR Document. Encounter History/Categories Document Menu

You can select a patient document on the Encounter History or Categories tab to display the document menu with the following commands: Command Description Provider Signoff Details Displays the current signoff status, rendering provider, provider reassignment (if applicable), and comments for a patient document. Send to Patient Portal Opens the Patient Portal Document Export window to export a document, image, or SAP® Crystal Reports® to NextGen® PxP Portal for patients enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal. Note: If the document is sent to NextGen® PxP Portal, the icon appears next to the document icon. Patient Portal History Details Displays the audit trail of a document that is sent to NextGen® PxP Portal. Recategorize Opens the Recategorize this item window.
