View NextGen® PxP Portal Document History

For a patient enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal, when you send a document that is attached to the patient's chart, the system creates an audit trail. The system also records when the patient opens the document from the NextGen® PxP Portal website.
  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
  2. On the Tool Bar, select People Lookup .
    The People Lookup window opens.
  3. Search for a patient and select the patient.

    The Patient Chart window opens on the Patient Information tab.
  4. Select the Clinical History/Notes tab.
  5. In Topics, under the Chart Notes folder, select the Document Management folder.
    The contents of the Document Management folder appear in Details.
  6. To open an image in the Details pane, right-click the image, and then select Open.
    The image appears in a new window.
  7. Right-click the image and select View Patient Portal Document History.
    The Patient Portal Document History window opens.
  8. Select Close.
