View NextGen® PxP Portal Document History

For a patient enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal, when you send a document that is attached to the patient's chart, the system creates an audit trail. The system also records when the patient opens the document from the NextGen® PxP Portal website. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. On the Tool Bar, select People Lookup . The People Lookup window opens. Search for a patient and select the patient. For more information on searching for a patient, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest Patient Demographics Guide for NextGen® Enterprise. The Patient Chart window opens on the Patient Information tab. Select the Clinical History/Notes tab. In Topics, under the Chart Notes folder, select the Document Management folder. The contents of the Document Management folder appear in Details. To open an image in the Details pane, right-click the image, and then select Open. The image appears in a new window. You can send documents and images that are added to an encounter in NextGen® Enterprise PM, to a patient's NextGen® PxP Portal account. You can send items, such as: Documents Images Emails Growth charts Local files Patient Education Material You can send documents and images only to patients with the Completed enrollment status. Send Documents and Images as Attachments You can send documents and images to NextGen® PxP Portal as attachments in communication messages. View NextGen PxP Portal Document History You can view the recorded document history of a document that you send to a patient enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal.
