Export a Graph to NextGen® PxP Portal

You can add a note or comment and export a graph to NextGen® PxP Portal accounts as .pdf document files.
  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. On the patient information bar, select Patient .
    The Patient Lookup window opens.
  3. Select a patient who is enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal.
    A list of the patient's encounters appear on the Encounter History tab.
  4. On the Encounter History tab, locate the graph to export.
    Sensitive encounters are identified by a sensitive encounter icon appears on the beside the encounter.
  5. Select the button.
  6. Select the item to export, and select the button.
  7. Select Send to Patient Portal.

    The Patient Portal Document Export window opens.

  8. To add comments, do one of the following:
    • In the Comments box, enter your comments, using up to 1,000 characters.
    • Insert a standard response from the Standard Responses section, and either drag it into the Comments box or double-click it.

      If needed, you can edit the response or right-click the right pane to insert a practice or person/patient information (for example name or address) field.

      Standard responses can be set up in File Maintenance (practice defined) or can be user defined (customized).

  9. Select Send.
    A confirmation message appears stating that the document was successfully exported to NextGen® PxP Portal.
  10. Select OK.
    The document is added to NextGen® PxP Portal document history. Once the graph is sent to NextGen® PxP Portal, the sent to NextGen® PxP Portal icon appears on the right side of the graph.
