Generate a Graph from a Medical Records Template

You can generate a graph for a NextGen® Enterprise EHR Medical Records template associated with a patient encounter. For the graph to display properly, numeric data must exist in the template fields. If fields do not contain data, no data is displayed in the graph. As the graph is being generated, NextGen® Enterprise EHR displays a warning if a field does not contain data. Data can only be added or revised in template fields in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Your system administrator creates and modifies templates using Template Editor. View Patient Portal Document History

When you export a graph from a patient chart to the patient NextGen® PxP Portal account, the system creates an audit trail of when it was sent and any comments which were added. The system also records when the patient opens the document from the NextGen® PxP Portal web site. Locate the graph to send under the encounter on the Encounter History tab. Select the button. Select the item to view, and select the button. Select Patient Portal History Details. The Patient Portal Document History window opens. Export a Graph to NextGen® PxP Portal

You can add a note or comment and export a graph to NextGen® PxP Portal accounts as .pdf document files. CAUTION: The size of the graph must not exceed 15 MB. In System Administrator, you can set the size limit for documents that are sent to NextGen® PxP Portal. On the patient information bar, select Patient . The Patient Lookup window opens. Select a patient who is enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal. NextGen® PxP Portal Document Export

You can export a patient document from the patient chart in NextGen® Enterprise EHR to the patient NextGen® PxP Portal account. You can export the patient document from the Encounter History or the Categories tab. Note: NextGen® Enterprise EHR enables you to export documents to the patient's NextGen® PxP Portal account in a number of other ways: From the File menu, you can select Export Patient Documents, or can select Patient Portal > Documents > Send EHR Document. Export Patient Documents to NextGen® PxP Portal

You can export documents to NextGen® PxP Portal for an enrolled patient. To select documents for export, follow step 1 to step 5 in Select Patient Documents for Export. On the Export Patient Documents window, select Patient Portal, and then select Export. If you have included sensitive data, the Sensitive Encounter data selected window opens. To cancel the export, select Cancel sending. The Export Patient Documents window comes back in view. You can change your selections, and then select Export again. To continue, select Proceed. After you select Export or Proceed, the Send Documents to <Patient Name> window opens, listing the selected documents. To search the list of documents, enter the first few letters of the name.
