Match Prescription Information on eRx Refill Requests

From the Refill Request Patient Matching window, you can match a prescription and add it to the patient's chart. Note: You must have prescribing rights to add the unmatched prescription to the patient's chart. Double-click an Unmatched Refill Reqs task, or select an Unmatched Refill Reqs, and then select Open. Workfow The Refill Request Patient Matching window opens. Refill Request Patient Matching Select the prescription to match. The data included in the refill request opens. Refill Request Patient Matching Select Lookup. A confirmation message Unmatched Prescription appears to create the medication entry, if does not exist. To create the medication entry on the patient's chart, do one of the following: Select Yes. Select Create Medication Entry on the Refill Request Patient Matching window. The medication is added to the patient's chart. The status of the prescription is changed to Matched and is displayed under Successfully Matched. When the medication entry is successfully matched

Match Patient Demographics on eRx Refill Requests

When you receive an eRx refill request and NextGen® Enterprise EHR is unable to match the name of the patient with a patient in the database, the refill request task is listed with the Unmatched Refill Reqs subject. The Refill Request Patient Matching window enables you to create a patient match based on the patient demographics information in the request data and the data of the corresponding patient. If the patient is not available in the NextGen® Enterprise EHR database, or if you cannot find a close match, you can deny the refill request without matching the data. Double-click an Unmatched Refill Reqs task, or select Unmatched Refill Reqs , and then select Open. Workflow The Refill Request Patient Matching window opens. Refill Request Patient Matching Select the patient to match. The patient data included in the refill request opens. Refill Request Patient Matching Select Lookup. The Patient Lookup window opens. Patient Lookup Search for and select the closest available match. The

Remove an Unmatched Refill Request Task

You can remove one or multiple unmatched refill request tasks from the Workflow window in the Clinical Tasking tab. You can restore a removed task if required. You can permanently remove a task so that it is no longer in your database. You cannot recover permanently removed tasks. Select each unmatched refill request task to remove from the task list. Workflow Select Remove > Single Task or Remove > Multiple Tasks. Unmatched Refill Requests The Remove Task confirmation window opens. Remove Task To permanently remove the selected tasks, select the Remove permanently check box. A confirmation message Remove Task appears to remove the selected tasks. Reject eRx Refill Request from the Workflow Window

You can reject responsibility for an eRx refill request task. When NextGen® Enterprise EHR sends an eRx refill request to multiple users, a single user can reject the task and prevent other users from working on the same task. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR and open the Workflow module. Select the Clinical Tasking tab and select a refill request from the task list. Note: In the task list, indicates a pending task. Clinical Tasking Select Reject. The rejected task no longer appears in the task list. Note: After you reject a task, Accept and Reject become unavailable.
